Day 3 : ANCY-LE-FRANC - FAIN-LES-MONTBARD (67 on 258 km)
Before the morning drive visit Ancy-le-Franc castle. This monument belongs to one of the most beautiful Renaissance mansions in Burgandy.
You will soon find the shaded banks of the canal of Bourgogne. This superb itinerary along the Armançon valley will lead you to Montbard.
From that point you will reach Fontenay abbey where you will admire one of the jewels belonging to the Cistercian art from the XII th century, nestled in its lush-green case. Further to this visit you will join the the Dukes of Burgandy circuit where you will come across the Bussy-Rabutin castle, the inner decoration of which deserves your visit.
To end this itinerary you will reach Fain-les-Montbard through the cultivated plateaus of Auxois.
