Day 1 : LES PLANCHES-PRES-ARBOIS - LES PLANCHES-PRES-ARBOIS (60 on 143 km)
During this week-end in the white gold and yellow wine, you "will nestle" in a charming mill. Situated in the valley of Arbois vineyard at the foot of a waterfall, this place is ideal for the lovers of nature, undergrowths, springs and mushrooms.
The first day will be devoted to the discovery of forests and streams in the Jurassian plateaus. You will make a detour by the spectacular resurgence of Nans-sous-Sainte Anne.
Between Nans-sous-Sainte Anne and Migette you will stop on ( the Devil Bridge ) Pont du Diable to admire the steep gorges of the Lison river, this river is usually dry because it flows underground before reappearing and disappearing again.
Before reaching Salins-les-Bains, make a detour by the Mount Payet so as to admire the superb panorama of the Jurassian plateaus.
You will drive through Salins-les-Bains towered by the forts Belin and Saint-André. From its medieval past pieces of ramparts and ancient towers still stand up. The Salins tour permits to see the extraction of the salted water from the Jurassian soil.
To end this day a stop in Arbois the capital of the Jurassian vineyard sounds mandatory. You will have the opportunity to visit a cellar and taste the famous yellow wine.
